This painting was inspired by my travels through Mexico, a country whose colors, warmth, nature, and atmosphere left a deep emotional imprint on me.
 
The vivid orange background reflects the intense sunsets, heat, and vibrant energy I experienced there, while the layered cactus leaves and blooming flowers symbolize resilience, life, and beauty growing even in dry landscapes.
 
The two golden hummingbirds appear only as silhouettes, almost like memories or fleeting spirits moving through the painting. In many cultures, hummingbirds symbolize joy, lightness, freedom, and the connection between worlds. For me, they represent movement, travel, and the feeling of carrying pieces of places within us long after we leave them behind.
 
This artwork is less about painting a realistic landscape and more about capturing an emotional memory, a colorful echo of Mexico that still lives inside me.
